SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Bell Microproducts Inc., a distributor of memory, microprocessors, and other computer products, said Thursday that a Nasdaq Stock Market panel had granted its request for continued listing. The panel also gave the company an extension until May 22 to get its regulatory filings up to date.Bell said in November that it received a delisting notice from Nasdaq due to a delay in filing its third-quarter results. That came after the company announced plans to restate certain financial statements dating back to 2000 due to accounting errors.Bell said Thursday it may not be able to complete its review of its stock-option accounting practices and restatements of prior period financials before the extended deadline. Bell said it will petition the Nasdaq for another extension, if necessary.Bell also said Thursday it still expects to record fourth-quarter revenue of about $1 billion and fiscal 2007 revenue of about $3.4 billion.Bell shares rose 4 cents to close at $6.92.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
