Japan MoF keeps coupon on 10-year bond issue at 1.7 pct |

TOKYO (XFN-ASIA) - The Ministry of Finance said it has set a coupon of 1.7 pct on 1.9 trln yen worth of 10-year government bonds it will auction today, the same coupon given at the previous 10-year debt auction on April 3.Designated as the No 285 issue, the bonds will be issued on May 25 and will mature on March 20, 2017, the ministry said.The results of the auction will be announced at 12.45 pm (0345 GMT).At last month's auction of 10-year debt, the lowest accepted price was 100.35 yen, giving a yield of1.658 pct, with a bid-to-cover ratio of 3.129 to one.(1 usd = 119.87 yen)kaori.kaneko@xfn.comkk/mas
