FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - The Darmstadt, Germany senior public prosecutor Ulrich Busch yesterday argued for Siemens AG to pay a 97.7 mln eur fine in a case of alleged bribery at the conglomerate's power generation unit, DPA News Agency reported from the court.The case concerns gas turbines which Siemens sold to Enel SpA between 1999-2002.A Siemens spokesman declined to comment on the matter as the case is still ongoing.The prosecutor, also wants to sentence one manager, named as Andreas K, to three years and six months in custody.He wants to sentence another, Horst V, to up to 18 months probation.The court did not reveal the full names of the former managers, and it has yet to issue a verdict in the case.alfred.kueppers@thomson.comamk/hjpCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
