WASHINGTON (AP) - The U.S. Army said Thursday it recently awarded an $18.4 million contract boost to Lockheed Martin Corp. for practice pods used to launch rockets.Lockheed will perform the work in Grand Prairie, Texas, and East Camden, Ark., through April 30, 2009.
