Qiagen wins order for avian-flu testing equipment from Singapore |

VENLO, The Netherlands (Thomson Financial) - Biotech company Qiagen NV said it won a contract from Singapore's health ministry to supply sample preparation solutions and molecular tests for the detection of avian-flu viruses.The contract runs for three years, the company said in a statement, without disclosing the deal's financial terms.The contract 'volume depends on minimum stockpiling levels as well as the level of intensity of the country's surveillance program,' Qiagen added.ludwig.burger@thomson.comlb/mas/vsCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
