Spain's FCC 50:50 jv wins Madrid motorway contract worth 453 mln eur UPDATE

MADRID (Thomson Financial) - Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas SA said its 50:50 joint venture, Global Via Infraestructuras, with savings bank Caja Madrid has been awarded a contract by the Madrid government to build and operate the M-404 motorway for a 453 mln eur investment.

In a statement, FCC said the shadow toll road contract is for 30 years, with construction expected to last 18 months.
