COLUMBUS, Ohio - Bob Evans Farms Inc., operator of two Midwest restaurant chains, on Tuesday said same-store sales at its namesake Bob Evans Restaurants increased 3.3 percent in December.Same-store sales are sales at stores, or restaurants, open at least a year.Average menu prices for the fiscal month rose about 1.3 percent.Same-store sales at Mimi's Cafe restaurants grew 2.7 percent year-over-year, and average menu prices for the month rose about 3.4 percent.Shares of Bob Evans Farms, which owns and operates 589 restaurants in 18 states, rose 46 cents to close at $34.12 on the Nasdaq Stock Market.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
