Amerco OKs hike in share buyback plan |

RENO, Nev. (AP) - Amerco Inc., the parent company of moving and storage company U-Haul International, said Friday its board has approved the increase of the company's stock buyback program to $115 million.The amount includes the $50 million share repurchase plan the board had previously approved in 2006. As with the prior program, the new buyback expires on Oct. 31.The buyback will be funded from available working capital.Amerco shares fell 23 cents to $64.96 in aftermarket trading, after rising 19 cents to close at $65.19 on the Nasdaq Stock Market.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
