BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - China said it wants six-nation talks aimed at disbanding North Korea's nuclear weapons programme toresume by the middle of this month.'We hope we can hold the next head of delegation meeting in the middle of the month. But this still needs the consent of all parties,' foreign ministry spokesman Qin Gang told reporters.Qin said that China, which is the host of the talks, was in discussions with all parties to secure the start date.South Korea's foreign ministry said earlier Tuesday that the talks were likely to resume in Beijing on July 18-19, although the dates had yet to be confirmed.The six nations involved in the talks are China, the two Koreas, the US, Japan and Russia.afp-xfntmCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
