Kone buys Lithuania's Elektros Pavara |

HELSINKI (Thomson Financial) - Kone said it has acquired Elektros Pavara, a Vilnius-based company that installs and maintains lifts and escalators, for an undisclosed sum.Kone said the deal will make it the largest lift company in the Baltic region.Elektros Pavara, which has been Kone's distributor in Lithuania since 1992, has some 1,350 lifts and escalators in its maintenance base and employs around 90 people.james.etheridge@thomson.comje/ejbCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
