HELSINKI (Thomson Financial) - The price of PIX Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft averaged 587.45 eur per tonne in the week ending July 8, down 2.59 eur from the previous week, Foex Indexes Ltd said.In dollar terms, the PIX NBSK was 1.85 usd higher at 798.70 usd.Foex, a provider of audited, trade-mark registered pulp and paper indexes, said the PIX Bleached Hardwood Kraft Pulp (BHKP) price index dropped 2.03 eur during the same week to 514.78 eur per tonne.Among the key paper grades, the price of light weight coated (LWC) paper edged up 0.76 eur to 676.41 eur.Coated woodfree paper dipped 1.20 eur to 716.25 eur and newsprint edged 0.23 eur lower to 538.78 eur.PIX data is compiled using price information from buyers, sellers and agents.james.etheridge@thomson.comje/jlcCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
