LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Platinum Diversified Mining Inc said International Consolidated Minerals (ICM), which Platinum Diversified is planning to reverse into, has been issued a statement of claim by Canada's Precious Metal Capital Corp (PMCC).Platinum Diversified said the statement of claim is similar to the threatened claim made by PMCC against ICM and a number of other defendants, which seeks an order that ICM transfer its interest in certain concessions to PMCC or a declaration that ICM shares issued in exchange for the concessions are beneficially owned by PMCC.The claim also lists as alternatives to the transfer order an interim injunction preventing the defendants from disposing of their interest in the concessions, or damages in the sum of 200 mln usd.Platinum Diversified said as far as ICM is aware, the claim has not yet been properly served and that ICM has instructed its solictors to seek dismissal of the claim or to defend it vigorously if it is not dismissed.It added that ICM considers the claim 'opportunistic' and without merit.The company announced the 240 mln usd reverse takeover of ICM on Aug 21.tf.TFN-Europe_newsdesk@thomson.comvlb/roCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
