Avista declares regular dividend

SPOKANE, Wash. (AFX) - Energy company Avista Corp. said Friday its board

declared a regular quarterly dividend of 14.5 cents per share.

Oil prices briefly top $60 a barrel

NEW YORK (AFX) - Oil prices climbed briefly above $60 a barrel Friday for

the first time since the first trading day of the year, as the unrelenting chill

throughout the United States led traders to believe that heating fuel demand

won't be letting up anytime soon.
