China Life to be added to Shanghai bourse indices

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - China Life will be added to a series of Shanghai bourse indices from Jan 23, the Shanghai Stock Exchange said in a statement.

The leading Chinese insurer, which raised a net 27.81 bln yuan from its Shanghai IPO, will be added to the SSE 180, SSE 50, Shanghai Shenzhen 300, China Securities 100 Index and China Securities 800 Index.

Meanwhile, Shanghai Shimao Co Ltd (SHA 600823) and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Co Ltd (SHA 600004) will be removed from the SSE 180 and SSE 50 Indexes.
