TOKYO (XFN-ASIA) - Nintendo Co Ltd's Wii game console outsold Sony Corp unit Sony Computer Entertainment Inc's PlayStation 3 (PS3) console by more than two to one in the domestic market last year, according to the results of a survey by magazine publisher Enterbrain.Enterbrain said that by the end of last year, Nintendo had sold 989,118 Wiis since they went on sale on Dec 2, while Sony had sold 466,716 PS3s since they went on sale on Nov 11.Each manufacturer had aimed to ship 1 mln consoles by the end of last year.Nintendo is aiming to sell 6 mln Wiis by the end of March in a bid to regain some of the market share it has lost to Sony and Microsoft Corp. Microsoft sold 290,467 of its Xbox 360 consoles here in the year or so since they went on sale in December 2005.(1 usd = 119.41 yen)yumiko.nishitani@xfn.com
