Sony China appoints new president

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - Haruyasu Nagata has been named president of Sony China, the company said, adding Nagata has also been made chairman and vice president at unit Sony Marketing of China.

The company said former Sony China president Seiichi Kawasaki has been named vice president of Sony Supply Chain Solutions in Japan.

Nagata formerly headed the Sony consumer electronics business in the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe.
