Canada's Nortel, China Digital form strategic partnership

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - Canada's Nortel Networks Corp (NYSE/TSX: NT) said it has formed a strategic partnership with China Digital, China's largest IT products distributor and systems integrator, in order to raise its market share in China.

In a statement, it said China Digital will be the general agent for Nortel's products in China, and be responsible for building sales channels and expanding corporate users.

'China Digital will bring Nortel's products to more Chinese clients and help the company build localized distribution networks,' China Digital 's vice general manager Fei Weijun said.
