FRANKFURT (AFX) - Hochtief AG said a consortium led by its Australian unit Leighton Holdings has won an order worth up to 240 mln eur to construct a 35-kilometre stretch of the Hume Highway in New South Wales, Australia.It said the total order volume ranges 'between 180-240 mln eur', depending on the development of construction material costs, among other things.Hochtief said Leighton, which has a 75 pct stake in the consortium, will receive between 135-180 mln eur from the deal.Leighton Contractors Pty Ltd. will be jointly responsible for the work, along with the New South Wales Roads and Traffic Authority, Maunsell Australia Pty Ltd. and Coffey Geotechnics Pty Ltd., Hochtief added.newsdesk@afxnews.comjfb/icCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
