Orbit International unit gets US Navy order in excess of 1.25 mln usd |

NEW YORK (AFX) - Orbit International Corp., an electronics manufacturer and supplier, said its Power Group, Behlman Electronics, Inc. unit has received a new order in excess of 1.25 mln usd for a power supply used on the LAMPS MK1 SH-2G Seasprite program.Seasprite is the US Navy's anti-submarine and anti-ship surveillance and targeting helicopter.Deliveries under this contract are expected to commence in the first quarter of 2007 and continue through the first quarter of 2008.The order also includes options for deliveries through 2011 which could bring the total value of this order to in excess of 4.5 mln usd.newsdesk@afxnews.comjoyCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
