MADRID (AFX) - Gas Natural SDG SA and Endesa SA both declined to comment immediately on the Spanish Supreme Court's decision to lift the injunction on the Catalan gas firm's offer for the utility.A Gas Natural spokeswoman said: 'We have still to study the details of the Supreme Court's decision.'The Supreme Court said its decision was carried by 16 votes to 15.Gas Natural's bid has also been blocked by a Madrid court, which is expected to examine tomorrow an appeal filed by the Catalan group and Iberdrola SA.Today's court decision also goes part of the way to unblocking a rival bid for Endesa from German power giant E.ON AG.An E.ON spokesman could not immediately be reached for comment.afxmadrid@afxnews.comjdy/wjCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
