Amsterdam shares close lower on weak Wall Street; TomTom leads decliners |

AMSTERDAM (AFX) - Shares in Amsterdam closed lower, held back by a weaker Wall Street, while TomTom led decliners as the market digested news that the personal navigation device manufacturer has placed an order for computer chips at Infineon and other suppliers, dealers said.The AEX closed 3.38 points or 0.68 pct lower at 492.49 after trading in the range of 490.93-494.20.Government bonds traded lower while the euro stood at 1.2961 usd versus 1.3003 usd late yesterday.mike.croall@afxnews.commc/ambCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
