China B-shares close higher, tracking A-share gains |

SHANGHAI (XFN-ASIA) - B-shares in Shanghai and Shenzhen closed higher, tracking A-share gains with blue chips buoyed by follow-through interest, dealers said.The Shanghai B-share Index was up 0.64 points at 189.40 on turnover of 639.98 mln usd and the Shenzhen B-share Index was up 0.72 points at 547.12, a fresh closing high, on turnover of 833.95 mln hkd.The FTSE/Xinhua China B 35 Index was up 27.38 points at 7,323.22.The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A- and B-shares listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, closed up 45.34 points, or 1.33 pct, at 3,444.29, a new all-time closing high, after moving between 3,351.11 and 3,444.37.Turnover rose to 152.94 bln yuan, a new record, from 139.94 bln in the previous session.(1 usd = 7.73 yuan; 7.8 hkd)lake.xu@xinhuafinance.comlx/rj
