AMSTERDAM (Thomson Financial) - The Dutch shareholders association VEB said it will vote against ABN Amro Holding NV's sale of LaSalle to Bank of America Corp at the Dutch bank's EGM if a higher offer for the ABN Amro group emerges.VEB director Peter Paul de Vries confirmed VEB's voting intentions to Thomson Financial News.ABN Amro was ordered last week by the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Appeals Court to seek shareholder approval for the sale of LaSalle at an EGM, but said last night it will appeal the ruling in the Supreme Court. The Dutch bank has confirmed, however, that it will still hold an EGM despite the appeal.Aaron Gray-Block; aaron.gray-block@thomson.comagb/icCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
