PRAGUE (Thomson Financial) - Air France-KLM SA is in talks to acquire a stake in fully state-owned Czech Airlines CSA, Dutch daily Financiele Telegraaf reported.CSA is already together with Air France a member of SkyTeam, an alliance which also includes Delta Air Lines Inc, Aeromexico, Alitalia, and Korean Air.'KLM sees CSA as a fit acquisition,' Czech daily Hospodarske Noviny cited a KLM spokesman.'Some indicative meetings might have taken place,' an unidentified source from the Czech transport ministry told the Czech daily.'As for time schedule, there's no doubt that (the loss-making) CSA needs to first complete its stabilization program planned through the next year, and then it's possible to discuss what happens next,' the sources said.The Czech transport minister will propose on Wednesday how to proceed with privatisation of the Czech Airlines as well as the Prague airport, whose value has been estimated between 70 and 100 bln crowns.jana.mlcochova@thomson.com +420 222 191 108jm1/slmCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
