BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - Users in China spent 276.76 bln yuan on internet services in 2006, up nearly 50 pct, the official China Daily reported, citing the Internet Society of China.The society said that China's internet users spent an average of 170 yuan per month in 2006 on services such as internet connection, online shopping and online games, up nearly 8 pct.The number of internet users rose to 136 mln at the end of 2006, up from 111 mln at the end of 2005, the report said.sean.mangieri@xinhuafinance.com
