HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the stock exchange are discussing ways of amending existing rules to attract more foreign companies to list on the local bourse, Hong Kong chief executive Donald Tsang said.The SFC and the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (SEHK) are drafting a clearer mechanism and general conditions for the local listing of overseas companies, he said.Tsang, who stressed the need for attracting more foreign companies to list in Hong Kong in his policy address in October, added that the new rules are expected to be announced soon.roby.lau@xfn.comrl/net
