Greek shares close up, near session high

ATHENS (Thomson Financial) - Shares closed near today's session high, led up by solid performance by refiners, dealers said.

The ASE general index closed 1 pct higher at 4,783.6, while blue caps also finished 1 pct higher at 2,558.1.

Mid-caps gained 0.9 pct at 6,056.9 and small caps climbed 1.2 pct higher to 918.9.

Advancers outnumbered decliners 173 to 67 while 76 remained unchanged.
