AMSTERDAM (Thomson Financial) - Amsterdam shares market data at 10.52 amAEX 537.21, up 2.54 points, 0.48 pctMidcap 732.06, up 8.58 points, 1.19 pctGovernment bonds mainly flatMAJOR GAINERS-Corporate Express shares soared 11.01 pct to 10.49 in early morning trade following reports hedge fund Centaurus took a 5 pct stake in the company, prompting Rabo-Securities to upgrade the shares to 'buy' from 'hold'.-BAM was 3.14 pct higher to 21.35.-Rodamco Europe rose 2.02 pct to 102.35 after Kempen & Co lifted its recommendation on the issue to 'add' from 'neutral'.-Corio advanced 2.61 pct to 62.80 after Kempen & Co raised its advice on the issue to 'add' from are duce' and its price target to 62.7 eur from 59.2.-Vedior put on 2.07 pct to 21.23 and USG People won 2.36 pct to 33.42.-Van der Moolen was up 1.75 pct to 4.08.-ASML added 1.68 pct at 19.36 and ASMI lifted 1.58 pct to 19.29.-Arcelor Mittal was up 0.99 pct to 45.95 ahead of its AGM tomorrow, to be held in Amsterdam.-SNS Reaal strengthened 0.64 pct to 17.40 after AFS Brokers initiated the issue at 'add' with a price target set at 19.0 eur.MAJOR DECLINERS-DSM fell 0.51 pct to 37.15.-Royal Dutch Shell shed 0.31 pct to 28.59.cornelia.messing@thomson.comcmm/ejbCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
