UrAsia Energy gets British Columbia court approval for sxr Uranium One purchase

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Canadian-based uranium producer UrAsia Energy Ltd said it received approval from the Supreme Court of British Columbia on April 12 for its acquisition of sxr Uranium One Inc.

The AIM-listed company expects the purchase to become effective in the second half of April 2007, upon receipt of the remaining required government and regulatory approvals.
