FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Deutsche Telekom AG is 'closer' to reaching an agreement with trade union ver.di over plans to outsource 50,000 staff to its newly created T-Service customer service division to help reduce annual costs by 900 mln eur, a Telekom spokesman told dpa-AFX news agency.'At the moment we are negotiating on the content,' said the spokesman in Bonn, as the fourth round of negotiations continued.Around 12,000 employees of Deutsche Telekom AG were expected today to take part in strike action in protest of the plans.krysia.diver@thomson.comkd/lamCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
