All internet buffs can now have the time of their lives with affordable high speed internet access! UK Online seems to have entered a million hearts, besides the broadband cost war, by making unlimited broadband services available to people for less than £10 per month. This offers massive savings in comparison with other adsl and cable providers at the moment although the competition are sure to hit back at some stage.
Called the ‘entry level’ home broadband, this 512 kbps broadband service will pose a serious challenge to its competitors, with UK online now using Easynet's Local Loop Unbundling (LLU) investment that will enable it to present more fresh and innovative products to its consumers in comparison to its competitors. Its exclusive 8Mb broadband service has already won the race in speed against other ISP providers.
| As other ISP providers gear up for the broadband cost war, the customer can rest assured of quite a few novel and creative broadband products and packages available in the market at competitive prices.
Meanwhile, UK online has an attractive 2Mb broadband package offer only for £19.99 per month, along with its chief 8Mb broadband service offer priced at an incredible £29.99 per month.
According to the GM of UK Online, Chris Stening, "LLU enables us to offer more innovative products than our competitors. Our unique 8Mb service has led the way on speed and now we are leading the way on price."
However, editor of Computer active, Dylan Armbrust felt that this strategy by UK online would “spark a big price war among providers, in what is already a highly competitive area." He added that with more and more people switching over to broadband, the £10 price tag of UK online was sure to lure many more customers into choosing broadband over a dialup.
