ZURICH (Thomson Financial News) - Share prices moves higher in afternoon trade, tracking sharp gains in early Wall Street trade, after better-than-expected June sales from Wal-Mart Stores eased investor fears about a slowdown in consumer spending.At at close, the Swiss Market Index was up 34.12 points at 9,248.51, and the Swiss Performance Index was 31.38 points higher at 7,565.51.The euro was higher against the Swiss franc, at 1.6568 sfr, while the dollar eased to 1.2031 sfr.TFN.zurich@thomson.comsf/dcaCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
