BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - China imported 124.07 mln tons of crude oil in the nine months to September, up 13.6 pct over the corresponding period last year, the General Administration of Customs said.In September alone, crude oil imports stood at 13.66 mln tons, against 13.46 mln tons a year earlier.Oil products imports were down 8 pct year-on-year in the nine months to September at 26.84 mln tons, while for September alone imports stood at 2.56 mln tons, it said.China also exported 2.44 mln tons of crude oil in the nine months, down 43 pct year-on-year.Crude oil exports in September stood at 200,000 tons, against 130,000 tons in the same month last year.Exports of oil products in the January-September period stood at 11.86 mln tons, up 30.6 pct from a year earlier.Oil products exports in September were at 1.59 mln tons, it said, without giving a comparative figure.kelly.zang@xfn.comxfnkz/xfnrcCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
