OSLO (Thomson Financial) - Fast Search & Transfer said Johan Fredrik Odfjell has resigned from the group's board of directors with immediate effect.No reason was given for the resignation, but Odfjell was quoted as saying he believed the internet search firm's board needs further strengthening.'In my opinion the board of directors should be strengthened and must be able to give more time and commitment to give Fast the required guidance and support,' he said.Fast said it has now called a meeting to consider new candidates for membership of its board.alastair.reed@thomson.comar/ajbCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
