TEWKSBURY, Mass. (AP) - Raytheon Co. has purchased the robotics business of Sarcos Inc., expanding its integrated defense systems arm, the defense contractor said Monday.Terms were not disclosed.Salt Lake City-based Sarcos researches and develops advanced micro-electro mechanical systems. Acquiring its robotics division will allow Raytheon to expand in a 'developing growth area,' Dan Smith, president of Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, said in a statement.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
