(Updating with full report)HELSINKI (Thomson Financial) - Retailer Stockmann said group sales rose 8.6 pct in November year-on-year to 142 mln eur, boosted by new selling space and 'good' like-for-like sales growth abroad.The company's international sales jumped 30.5 pct to 39.5 mln eur during the month, compared with modest 2.0 pct growth in sales to 102.5 mln eur at its domestic businesses.Stockmann does not provide like-for-like sales growth figures.In Finland, sales at the group's core Stockmann department stores rose 4.1 pct, while Seppala, the fashion chain, recorded a rise of 6.5 pct.Home shopping unit Hobby Hall registered a 7.8 pct drop in Finnish sales.james.etheridge@thomson.comje/ms1/je/ms1COPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
