Italy's RAI asks Cisco to build set-top box for digital, internet TV |

MILAN (AFX) - Italian state-owned broadcaster RAI said it has asked Cisco Systems Inc to build a new generation set-top box for both digital terrestrial and internet TV, daily La Repubblica reported.The newspaper added that RAI's rival Mediaset SpA is working have ry actively' on developing the hybrid set-top box, but that no official announcement has been made.danilo.masoni@thomson.comdm/harCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
