Rexam sells glass business to Ardagh Glass for 660 mln eur |

LONDON (AFX) - The world's biggest can maker Rexam PLC said it has agreed to sell its glass business for 660 mln eur in cash to Ardagh Glass Group PLC to focus on its core beverage can and plastic packaging businesses.The company said it will use the proceeds to reduce borrowings in the short term.Rexam said the consideration included borrowings and other liabilities disposed and is subject to certain net asset adjustments.newsdesk@afxnews.comrda/rarCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
