Exxon Mobil to expand Belgium plant |

HOUSTON (AP) - Exxon Mobil Corp., the world's largest publicly held oil company, on Monday said it plans to expand capacity at its hydrocarbon fluids plant in Belgium.Financial details were not disclosed.The Antwerp, Belgium, facility will have annual capacity of 700,000 tons after the expansion, which is expected to be finished in the fourth quarter this year. Exxon said the expansion will allow it to meet increasing demand for hydrocarbon and oxygenated chemicals products.Hydrocarbon fluids are used in oil drilling, mining, agricultural chemicals and adhesives.Shares of Exxon Mobil fell 10 cents to $71.03 in midday trading on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
