Riofisa to construct 72 mln eur mixed use construction complex in Bulgaria

MADRID (AFX) - Riofisa SA said it will invest 72 mln eur in a mixed use construction project in Sofia, Bulgaria, to be started in 2008.

In a statement, Riofisa said the project covers an area of 54,000 square metres and is the company's third contract in Bulgaria.

The two existing concerns, including Bulgaria's largest shopping mall involved a 550 mln eur investment, the company noted.

It said the new project is part of an international expansion strategy centred on eastern European emerging markets.
