Adidas buys Reebok distribution rights in Turkey

HERZOGENAURACH, Germany (AFX) - Adidas AG said it has acquired the distribution rights for its US brand Reebok in Turkey from RBK Spor Urunleri, effective April 1.

Following the deal, Adidas Spor Malzemeleri Satis ve Pazarlama AS will be the exclusive distributor of Reebok products in Turkey, the German sporting goods maker said in a statement.

No financial details were disclosed.

Adidas took over Reebok in January 2006. The worldwide buyout of distributors is a key part of the group's integration strategy for Reebok.
