AMSTERDAM (AFX) - Shares in Amsterdam closed a quiet session slightly higher, with the main index supported by heavyweight Unilever after its chairman said he will resign, dealers said.The AEX closed up 2.68 points or 0.54 pct at 502.84, after opening at 499.44.Government bonds traded flat to lower while the euro stood at 1.2928 usd versus 1.2898 usd late yesterday.kaj.leers@thomson.comlamCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
