TULSA, Okla. (AFX) - Power and natural-gas company Williams Cos. Inc. said Friday its Cameron Meadows natural gas processing plant in southern Louisiana, which was damaged by Hurricane Rita in 2005, has been restored to its full capacity of 500 million cubic feet per day.The total cost to rebuild the plant is estimated to be between $35 million and $40 million, and most of those funds are recoverable through standard property insurance, according to a Williams' release. The first of the plant's two main cryogenic processing units was restored in February, making the facility available to process up to 300 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, according to the company.Shares of Williams added 38 cents to $25.74 in afternoon trading on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
