Banca Italease mandates CEO, chairman to study capital hike; decision by July 27 |

MILAN (Thomson Financial) - Banca Italease SpA said its board has mandated the chief executive Massimo Mazzega and the chairman Lucio Rondelli to study a capital hike and its timing, and to prepare a new business plan with the support of an industrial adviser.The bank also said there have been several expression of interests from leading investors and funds to participate in the recapitalisation and that it has named Rothschild SpA to advise the company in selecting the offers.The board will meet again to decide on these issues by July 27, it said.Italease also said its derivative exposure has not been discussed at today's board meeting.danilo.masoni@thomson.comdm/rfwCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
