BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - North Korea has agreed to begin closing its Yongbyon nuclear reactor and some other atomic facilities in return for fuel aid, China's envoy to six-nation talks on Pyongyang's nuclear program said after revealing a deal had been reached.Wu Dawei said North Korea would begin receiving 50,000 tonnes of fuel oil if it shut down its Yongbyon reactor and allowed United Nations nuclear inspectors back into the country within 60 days.He added that Pyongyang will receive the equivalent of 1 mln tonnes of oil if it permanently closes key nuclear facilities as part of the deal. In addition the United States will begin the process of delisting North Korea as a terrorist state.A new round of six-nation talks on North Korea's nuclear program will begin on March 19, he added.AFP
