BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) - VeraSun Energy Corp., a producer of ethanol, on Monday said its President Bruce Jamerson resigned, effective immediately.Jamerson is taking a chief executive job at a technology company but will remain on the board of VeraSun, according to the company.Donald L. Endres, chairman and chief executive, will assume Jamerson's responsibilities. He joined VeraSun as president in 2004.Shares rose 9 cents to $17.86 during aftermarket electronic trading, after falling 18 cents to close at $17.77 on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
