HELSINKI (Thomson Financial) - The price of PIX Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft averaged 586.08 eur per tonne in the week ending August 12, up 1.88 eur from the previous week, Foex Indexes Ltd said.In dollar terms, the PIX NBSK was unchanged at 800.00 usd.Foex, a provider of audited, trade-mark registered pulp and paper indexes, said the PIX Bleached Hardwood Kraft Pulp (BHKP) price index rose 2.53 eur during the same week to 518.29 eur per tonne.Among the key paper grades, the price of light weight coated (LWC) paper edged up 0.23 eur to 673.10 eur.Coated wood-free paper declined 1.66 eur to 710.94 eur, while newsprint edged 0.65 eur higher to 539.68 eur.PIX data is compiled using price information from buyers, sellers and agents.azer.sawiris@thomson.comafs/gpCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
