AMSTERDAM (Thomson Financial) - Shares closed lower in Amsterdam as investors eyed a lower Wall Street, with financials leading decliners after UBS issued a weak outlook, while KPN made strong gains amid news of a share buyback ramp-up and an acquisition in Belgium.The AEX closed 3.51 points or 0.94 pct lower at 508.43, after trading in a range of 508.83-515.34.Government bonds traded higher, while the euro stood at 1.3577 usd versus 1.3631 usd late yesterday.By Kaj Leers, kaj.leers@thomson.comkel/slmCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
