Basilea says Canadian regulatory authority accepts Ceftobiprole for review

ZURICH (Thomson Financial) - Basilea Pharmaceutica AG said the Therapeutic Products Directorate of Health Canada has accepted the New Drug Submission of Ceftobiprole, a treatment for complicated skin and skin structure infections including diabetic foot infections, for review.

The regulatory dossier was submitted by Basilea's license partner Janssen-Ortho, a Johnson & Johnson company.
