Abertis makes offer for Wind, 3 Italia teleco broadcasting aerials - report

MADRID (Thomson Financial) - Abertis Infraestructuras SA lodged a binding offer yesterday for Wind and 3 Italy's 18,500 broadcasting aerials, in a deal valued around 2 bln eur, Expansion reported, without citing its sources

Abertis is initially bidding on its own, but does not rule out the possibility of teaming up with a local partner, the newspaper said.

Wind and 3 Italy have placed the broadcasting aerials in a joint venture, in which they are selling a 50.1 pct stake.
